Plant Accountant-Part time Job Opening in Concord, North carolina - Position Summary:
Support the Controller in day to day financial operations including but not limited to accounts receivable, work order review, and special projects as needed.
Position Job Functions:
Prepare invoices daily to customers
Daily cash postings (credit card, ACH, wire, check)
Review all work orders and resolve discrepancies with plant manager and shipping department
Create and maintain relationship with customer
Investigate and resolve customer account issues
Process daily cash receipts and post payments to customer accounts
Review accounts receivable aging to determine past due customers and contact customer regarding past due balances
Maintain credit hold list
Prepare monthly sales commission reporting for accounts payable
Prepare monthly sales tax reporting
Monthly reconciliation of Accounts Receivable ledger to the General Ledger
Requires frequent interface with Plant Manager, Sales, Shipping and Production
Job Skills and Requirements:
Two or more years working with accounts receivable and inventory transactions with an integrated ERP system
Good working knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes and cost systems
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft office applications and ERP system experience (Global Shop a plus)
High degree of organizational skill, accuracy and confidentiality
Excellent attention to detail, organization and team work skills
Bachelor?s degree in Business (Accounting preferred)
