Food Demonstrator Job Opening in houston, Texas - Food Demonstrator Looking for food demonstrator. Jobs available throughout Houston & Surrounding areas. Great job for some extra cash to supplement your income. Applicant MUST be Reliable, Responsible, Outgoing, Enthusiastic, Trustworthy, Kind, Ethical, and a �people person� with a Dynamic Personality. Applicant must be presentable, speak clearly, have common sense, and excellent problem solving skills, and reliable transportation that will hold demo supplies. Must be physically fit enough to carry table, set up demo, and stand for the duration of the demo. Your job as a demonstrator is to serve product, educate consumer on product, sell product, and report on the demo you perform (including taking before & after inventory), and follow dress code & rules of store you are in. Prior experience a plus, but not a must. Most demos are on Sat & Sun, but do have some jobs available on other days of the week (primarily Fri & Mon, but do have all days on occasion) As a subcontractor, you will need to provide the following materials to perform these demonstrations. Most of which you will probably own already (in presentable condition). Must Haves: Folding Card table or 4� folding table (or comparable) Table Cloth 13 gal Trash Can (& liner) extension cord pens kitchen accessories depending on type of demo being performed. Nice to Haves (to make the job more efficient): Small Trash Can Rolling plastic cart w/ drawers Tape (regular) masking tape (strong enough to tape down electrical wires, but won�t ruin surfaces) Various sizes of zip lock bags Knife Scissors Hand Sanitizer Wet Wipes or Sanitizing wipes Paper towels Extra pens Yellow tablets Clip boards Upon providing a receipt, you will be reimbursed for the following: Napkins Paper cups Plastic cutlery Paper plates Commitment to these demos typically last approx 5 hours. The demo itself lasts 4 hours. You must show up at least 30 minutes prior to start of demo, sign in & set up, take starting inventory, demo for 4 hours, create report, at end of 4 hours, it will take you about 30 minutes to shut it down� take closing inventory, tear down, sign out.
