Non-profit Arts Sales -- ALLEY THEATRE Job Opening in houston, Texas - Non-profit Arts Sales -- ALLEY THEATRE The Alley Theatre is currently seeking highly-motivated, articulate individuals to come join its new Inside Sales team in promoting and selling its upcoming -2012 Tony-award winning season! We solicit for new business strictly from internal lists, with over 85% of existing season ticket holders continually renewing from one year to the next -- making our continued efforts for new subscribers highly valuable and lucrative. We are looking for individuals with experience doing successful cold calling (stockbroking, inside/outside sales, telemarketing, business devo/raising capital, fundraising etc). You'll possess: * A lively , focused , articulate phone personality -- a passion for/familiarity with the performing arts, *Existing, relevant sales background -- prior experience selling 'intangibles' a plus, *Ability to adapt quickly to current structures & methods -- also able to participate and voice new input & strategy when needed, *Goal-oriented competitive team spirit -- ability to perform independently as required, *Good communication skills and careful attention to detail -- Basic computer proficiency and typing ability We work out of our theatre offices Downtown in the Theatre District, operating five days a week, every week: Monday-Thursday: 5:00pm - 9:00pm Saturday: 9:30am - 1:30pm BECAUSE our operation depends on maximizing peak times in contact rates and concentrated sales volume, we ask that you be fully able commit to this outlined schedule consistently before applying -- it is very important as this is precisely when all of our money is made!
