Summary : Aids Physical Therapist and Chiropractors in patient care with massage and soft tissue work by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following . Other duties may be assigned.

Responsible for 8 to10 minute chair massage prior to patient appointments.
Performs myofascial release.
Performs trigger point massage.
Moves patients on tracking board.
Keeps track of personal massage stats.
Performs other miscellaneous projects.
Performs all other chiropractic and/or physical therapist responsibilities as assigned including pulling notes for the chiropractor, call pile, cancellation lists, purging charts, etc.
Assists Physical Therapists and Physical Therapy Assistants with patient exercises and modalities.
Documents patient daily activities in charts.
Stocks physical therapy area with patient care supplies and materials.
Pulls and preps patient charts and checks for authorizations.
Schedules patients.
Tracks and calls patients who have missed appointments.
Responsible for physical therapy statistic tracking.
Follows direct paperwork process.
Assists within department as a Chiropractic Assistant if necessary.
Create home exercise programs for patients that have been designated by the Physical Therapist.
Maintain and clean equipment regularly.
: Licensed massage certificate from a college or technical school; and one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates and Licenses:
CPR certified (must be obtained within 30 days from hire date)
Massage therapist license (LMT)
