A free spirit that knows how to motivate others? Joe Cornell Entertainment is an interactive musical entertainment company that provides teams of high energy emcees, DJs and dancers for special events and parties. Our specialty is kid parties (bar mitzvahs, 1st communions, sweet 16s, elementary and middle school events) and we are looking for individuals who know how to lead a crowd with energy and enthusiasm - on a microphone - and still know how and when to let others shine, too. You must have: � A great / magnetic personality � A clean appearance � Great people skills � Articulate speech � The ability to lead a line dance (ie. simple hustle) - on the beat - without hesitation Additionally you should: � Live within comfortable driving distance of Southfield, MI � Own a vehicle to get you to our Southfield offices reliably Experience in the service industry is a plus. Previous DJ experience is also a plus, but not required. Dance abilities are highly desired, as you will be interacting with kids and adults in a party setting, on the dance floor. This is a part time position - primarily Saturday Evenings (5:x PM - 1:x AM) - with occasional parties on Saturday afternoons, Sunday afternoons and evenings. We pay for experience - Starting hourly rate is between $15 - $20 per hour. Our veteran entertainers who get requested to perform, by name, earn over $5x per event (plus tips!).
