Maintenance Mechanic II Job Opening in Baltimore, Maryland - *Part-Time Opportunity - 1st Shift* The Maintenance Mechanic II will perform preventive maintenance duties for Medxcel Facilities Management throughout the assigned working location of St. Agnes Hospital - Baltimore MD. This position also troubleshoots, diagnoses, and repairs mechanical systems and equipment for the facilities. The Maintenance Mechanic II may be assigned more complex assignments that include multiple systems or cross-departmental interaction to complete the maintenance or repair. Specialized knowledge and expertise in HVAC, motors, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems are required to perform a variety of duties including: repairing heating, lighting, cooling, plumbing, ventilation systems and equipment; installation and maintenance of motors; and the installation and maintenance of specialized equipment.
Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
Completion of a recognized program in vocational training for the relevant trade * Experience
Five years (5) mechanical experience
Experience in healthcare facility preferred
Two years (2) journey level experience in a related trade preferred
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $22.00 to $28.00 /hour
