Marketing Intern Job Opening in Falls Church, Virginia - We are in search of a dynamic, hardworking individual, with a passion for the elderly population to join our Sales and Marketing team as a Marketing & Events Intern. This role requires extraordinary time management skills, a positive and energetic personality, and the ability to pick up quickly.
This position will collaborate with our Marketing team to plan, prepare, market, and implement upcoming events, along with maintain all aspects of social media.. The Marketing & Events Intern will also assist with daily internal and external marketing tasks, with one long term project during the four months.
You?ll gain broad experience in an Assited setting and have the opportunity to make key contributions to our business development efforts.
Your specific responsibilities will include ?
supporting the Marketing team in daily activities
assisting in the planning, designing and ordering marketing materials, developing a social media marketing strategy, and more
assisting in the preparation of professional referral events, fundraising, and educational programs
Qualifications
The ideal candidate ?
is a rising junior or senior currently enrolled in a Bachelor?s degree program
Is familiar with the DMV area
has superior time management and organization skills
has experience with event planning
demonstrates the ability to take on new responsibilities successfully
communicates clearly and effectively when writing and speaking
manages multiple tasks and projects with ease
is familiar with social media platforms
And has a make-up that is ?
self-driven and self-motivated, but great at interfacing with others
