LPN Intake Job Opening in Lincoln, Nebraska - Pathways to Compassion Hospice is actively seeking a full time Licensed Practical Nurse for the Lincoln, NE program.
Summary:
In this position, responsibilities will focus on assisting with the nursing care needs of our patients as provided by the RN and as specified in the plan of care. Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated and work well in an interdisciplinary team environment. Hospice experience is strongly preferred.
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing, current LPN licensure by NE state board.
Two years of general nursing experience preferred to include current experience and at least one of hospice and/or home care.
Excellent nursing judgment and documentation skills, excellent oral and written communications and interpersonal skills.
Current CPR certification preferred.
Demonstrates sensitivity to the needs of the patients and caregivers (families, friends and significant others).
Ability to function as an effective member of an integrated healthcare team.
Licensed driver with a reliable automobile which is insured in accordance with state law and organization policy.
