Controller Job Opening in Milwaukee, Wisconsin - The Controller is responsible for providing financial reporting, analysis and leadership to the management team of a smaller, but growing business. While it is currently a smaller company, it is a subsidiary of a large global company. This position will require both management and hands-on experience.
Job Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Managing and performing accounting and finance activities
Month-end close per corporate guidelines
Monthly financial reporting and analysis
Balance Sheet reconciliations
Annual budget preparation and variance analysis
Forecasting annual results
Cost-benefit analysis
Managing banking relationships
Understanding insurance requirements
Reviewing contract terms and conditions
Process improvement initiatives
System implementations
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related degree
Two years of experience as a Controller or equivalent position
Experience working with operations
Proficient with Excel
ERP experience
Preferences:
Industries: Manufacturing, Distribution, Logistics, Industrial
International experience, but not required
