As a Business Office Assistant, the ability to adapt, increase effectiveness, and work independently is key. Problem-solving is an essential part of daily responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned.
Maintain sub-contractor agreements
Obtain up-to-date sub-contractor insurance and lien waivers
Attain building permits
Schedule appointments with clients, showrooms, sub-contractors, etc.
Maintain master calendar
Obtain appropriate documentation for third party payments (i.e. mortgage & insurance companies).
Invoicing on multiple levels
Sending projects out for bidding
Creating selection sheets for projects upon receipt from vendors
Customer follow-up on estimates sent
Submitting payroll to accountant
Maintaining files/organization of office
Assistance in marketing as needed
Gather appropriate documentation for insurance audit
Education and/or Experience:
Three or more years of experience in the construction industry, customer service, and general office requirements; or any combination of education, training, or experience which would provide the knowledge required by this position.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $14.00 to $17.00 /hour
