Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Job Opening in Franklin, Tennessee - Located in the Cool Springs area of Franklin,TN, we are searching for an honest, hard working, reliable, and compassionate RN, LPN, or MA to join our busy, well established Pediatric Primary Care Practice! We need a nurse who can promote health, safety, and well-being through teamwork and effective communication. Being a smaller group of family-oriented staff, attendance, reliability and teamwork are a MUST in order to ensure smooth clinical operations and deliver the highest quality healthcare possible.
The ideal candidate is willing to build and maintain relationships with our patients and their families. We are looking for someone who is confident, friendly, and energetic. A CHEERFUL and POSITIVE attitude are essential to our commitment to extraordinary patient service and impeccable quality.
Pediatric experience is encouraged, but not required. MUST be comfortable administering vaccines to children, including venipunctures and finger/toe sticks (kids can be a little squirmy).
Office hours are Monday - Friday with occasional Saturday hours if necessary. This position is full-time, 4 days a week (Tuesday's off). Job duties and responsibilities:
Enjoy working with children!
Triage: Vital signs, phlebotomy, and speciman collection
Vaccine & medication administration and ordering
Familiar with VFC Program
Basic computer skills
Thorough electronic medical record documentation
Address patient phone calls and messages in a timely matter
OSHA and HIPAA compliant
CLIA knowledge
Maintain and ensure exam rooms are clean and well stocked; dispose of contaminated items according to protocol
Patience, ability to multi-task, attention to detail
Ability to recognize problems and recommend solutions
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
Complete various tasks as directed by the Physician or Practice Manager
