Position Summary
Hourly payroll, basic accounting and accounts payable processing
Accounting projects as assigned by Controller
Potential opportunity for full time employment
Responsibilities
· Work with Payroll Coordinator to process weekly hourly pay for 200 people
· Work with Payroll Coordinator to complete all associated Administrative activities hourly payroll employees
· Full backup for Payroll Coordinator for weekly hourly payroll processing when Coordinator is out
· Process vendor invoices of all types for all segments of the business as needed
· Complete all accounting related tasks as assigned by the Business Controller
· Establish and maintain professional relationships with internal employees and external vendors
· Communicate effectively with employees across all levels of the organization
· Perform at the highest level of ethical standards while communicating and supporting the company code of conduct
· Meeting task/schedule deadlines
Requirements
· Minimum 5 years of general accounting experience with 2 year college degree preferred or equivalent college level accounting classes
· Extensive experience and thorough understanding of entire payroll process
· Moderate experience in accounts payable processing of vendor invoices
· Computer skills involving automated systems, accounting type software and excel spreadsheets
· Preference for experience with ADP, Kronos, SAP and Esker
· General understanding of accounting and internal control/audit principles
· Preference for experience in manufacturing business
· Team player
· Maintains organized work environment
· Multitasking
