Requires strong writing skills, computer proficiency, preferably with graphic and desktop publishing software. Prefer proficiency using InDesign. Experience with web and social media tools. Requires a degree in Journalism or a related field plus two years of related work experience. *Must be able to interpret leading issues impacting the Texas business community and translate into layman terms (sound bites) for sales and marketing. *Write and edit articles for the monthly newsletter. *Compose, update basic scripts for public speaking events. *Design marketing materials, i.e. brochures, forms, etc. *Design and maintain website materials. *Write and design marketing materials for various events, including email blasts and letters. *Proof all correspondence (emails and letters). *Other duties as required. austin tx texas
