We?re looking for an extremely well qualified attorney to serve as a consulting attorney to our blue chip clients. Candidate should have:
At least 6 years of experience at a top law firm or in-house department with a focus on privacy, particularly in the healthcare industry
Strong experience counseling clients on HIPAA issues
Understanding of and/or experience with FTC Act, TCPA, CAN-SPAM Act would be helpful.
Experience with issues related to complex breach responses
The ability to collaborate across functions and regions
The responsibilities for this role will include:
Collaborating with various departments on a range of data privacy issues in the healthcare context
Monitoring and evaluating evolving data privacy laws, regulations and best practices
Providing privacy-related legal advice concerning business transactions
