Senior Open PlanĀ Program Planners and Schedulers - Seattle Job Opening in Seattle, Washington - We are looking for Senior Open Plan Program Planners and Schedulers in the Seattle.
SM&A's Integrated Program Planning & Controls practice ensure that our clients have the tools, resources and insight they need to perform at every stage of the program or project lifecycle. They can see projects through from the earliest program plan all the way through delivery to ensure a client can perform at their highest levels. Join us as an Senior Open Plan Program Planner/Scheduler, looking for the opportunity for utilize your experience and expertise on a wide variety of complex projects critical to our clients.
Responsibilities
Lead Program Planning & Control projects with a focus in IMS in large or complex implementations
Advise executive/program management on cost/schedule management tools and processes
Develop, integrate and baseline tiered master plans & schedules across a variety of industries including Aerospace and Defense, Information Technology, Healthcare /Pharmaceutical and Construction
Lead the development of the IMS Architecture in alignment with data management and reporting structures including the Statement of Work, the Work Breakdown Structure, CDRLs and major milestones
Work with project team members to status schedules and update forecasted projections
Establish network logic through task dependencies
Develop and/or deliver training courseware on basic to advanced scheduling methodologies
Integrate the MS Project with third party applications
Develop and manage schedules to support EVM in accordance with the DI-MGMT-81861; generate the Integrated Program Management Report Format 6
Review schedule status with CAMs and PM
Lead discussions relative to cost and schedule in Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs)
Conduct Schedule Risk Assessments (SRAs)
Load resources against schedules and analyze resource allocations
Manage planning sessions for baseline development and forecasting
Conduct critical path analysis
Run the DCMA 14 Point Analysis against the IMS
Develop and/or follow organizational scheduling policies and industry best (e.g., GAO Schedule Assessment Guide, PASEG, DI-MGMT-81861)
Prepare weekly, monthly and ad hoc status reports and graphs depicting schedule status/performance and trend analysis
Establish cross schedule dependencies; Integrate contractors and subcontractors into the IMS
Interact heavily with external customer and subcontractors
Qualifications
BA or BS
Candidates typically possess a minimum of 5-20 years of experience as a Program Planner.
Expert-level skills with Open Plan and Microsoft Excel
Preferred experience with resource loading, identify, and resolve over allocations and resource reporting in Open Plan
Preferred experience with cost & schedule integration
Clearance preferred: Secret or Top Secret, with SCI or have the ability to obtain at a minimum a Secret level clearance
Individual must be effective in a highly collaborative and high pace work environment and have proven leadership skills and tradecraft expertise to perform at the highest level sof industry standards and be considered as an expert advisor to clients
