We are looking for Full Time RN's to join our growing team. At VNA, we are a company dedicated to providing professional, compassionate and specialized health care to all of our patients in the comfort of their home. VNA has been serving patients for over 100 years to meet the home health care needs of the residents of the state of Maryland.
JOB PURPOSE:
Promotes and restores patients' health by developing team interaction of home care providers and overseeing direct care of the patient; directing and developing team; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary professional staffs; providing leadership and clinical support for team members and patients in the home care arena.
REGISTERED NURSE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintains nursing guidelines by reviewing policies and procedures as it relates to home care, in order to be patient focused.
Assures quality of care by developing and interpreting Home Care and nursing division's philosophies and standards of care.

Enforcing adherence to state board of nursing and state nurse practice act requirements and to other governing agency regulations; measuring health outcomes against standards; making or recommending adjustments.
Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by monitoring confidential information processing.
Maintains documentation of patient care services by auditing patient and department records.
Maintains a cooperative relationship among home health care teams by communicating information; responding to requests; building rapport; participating in team problem-solving methods.
REGISTERED NURSE QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree, (BSN) accredited nursing program
RN current license to practice in state of MD
At least 2 years of Home Care and/or Med-Surge/ICU experience preferred
Proficient in English, strong verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional interpersonal skill and the ability to display a caring demeanor towards others. Proficient computer skills required.
