Job Description:
The Accounts Payable Specialist should be professional, detail-oriented, and willing to be an integral part of the Accounting team. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for a broad range of accounts payable functions including, but not limited to, processing invoices, researching invoice discrepancies, corresponding with vendors, generating bi-weekly check runs, reconciling monthly procurement card and beverage purchases, and assist with month-end processing Experience and Qualifications:
High school diploma with some business courses, preferably in the accounting field.
1-3 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience with a large volume of transactions or comparable experience.
Prior hotel or country club experience helpful.
Individual should be able to work under minimum supervision.
Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
Must possess good mathematical skills for reconciliation responsibilities.
Must be able to deal with various levels of staff and effectively communicate with guests and vendors.
