Job summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of cutting edge computer vision algorithms for our next-generation imaging device. The candidate will be motivated, dynamic, and comfortable with a fast-paced small team environment. The candidate will work closely with other members of a multi-disciplinary team to create high quality and high performing solutions.
Responsibilities include:
Development of computer vision and image processing algorithms for 3D recovery using Stereo and Structured Light.
Develop algorithms for processing 3D data including but not limited to noise removal, mesh generation, surface smoothing etc.
Development of manageable, object-oriented, and intuitive software modules using C++
Required Skills and Experience :
Master?s Degree in Computer Science or a closely related technical discipline.
4+ years of industry experience although very strong recent graduates will be considered.
Proficiency in C++ development with C++/CLI and C# exposure
Excellent OpenCV experience
Experience using PCL (Point Cloud Library)
Strong Microsoft Visual Studio development experience.
Solid software engineering foundation and a commitment to writing clean, manageable, and stable code.
Expertise in 2D and 3D computer vision
Creative, resourceful, and innovative problem solver
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and small team environment
Excellent communication skills
Pluses :
Degree in Computer Science or related field.
Experience with small hand-held imaging devices.
Code optimization for real time processing, particularly using CUDA.
Ability to rapidly learn new languages, tools, and techniques as needed.
U.S. Residency Required.
