Position Summary: This position supports WITTENSTEIN sales team through event coordination, leads management and demo management. This is an operational role, responsible for producing tradeshows, sales events, leads management and other internal events as needed. Great opportunity to learn all aspects of a Marketing Department.
Sales Events Specialist Responsibilities:
Tradeshows: Work with team managers and exhibit house vendor to coordinate event logistics including show registrations, staff registrations, travel arrangements, apparel, sample procurement, promotional items, lead packages and booth layout. Attend show to assist with booth setup/breakdown, leads management, events and misc. sales support. (Approx. 4 shows per year).
Regional sales events: Coordination and support for regional sales events (prepare schedule, submit registrations, and manage demo shipments and marketing materials). Distribute product demos for use at events.
Leads development: Set up lead capture programs for tradeshows and sales events, prepare and import data into Microsoft Dynamics CRM, further scrubbing and/or qualifying leads as needed. Procure lists from both CRM and external sources for pre-show and post-show marketing campaigns. Forward website leads and inquiries to sales and tech support teams.
Sales demo support: Package and distribute product samples as needed to sales managers, distributors and prospects. Track and manage inventory of product samples and reorder as necessary. Manage procurement of new product sample and demos as identified.
Literature and promotional materials : Manage inventory and fulfillment of literature and promotional materials to sales managers, distributors and prospects.
Internal events : Assist with planning, coordination and travel logistics for internal events including National Sales Meetings, Council Meetings, Distributor Training Sessions and HR events.
Marketing communications: Support marketing department as needed in producing newsletters, intranet articles, social media posts and other communication pieces.
Sales Event Specialist Qualifications:
Well-versed in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Dynamics CRM and SharePoint
Experience with tradeshow coordination and planning
Ability to travel 15-20%
Comfortable with wide variety of tasks, constant change and 5S/Lean environment
BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, Sales or related field.
2-4 years? experience in event planning, marketing or sales support
Comfortable with physical aspects of job ? lifting products, long hours at tradeshows, physical exertion setting up demos.
