Regional Sales Manager - Wholesale Channel Job Opening in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - Job Description (Responsibilities)
· Exceed annual sales goals established for the region.
· Identify and analyze new business opportunities in electrical wholesale and HVAC channels of trade; develop and execute sales plans to acquire new business in line with company strategies and growth objectives.
· Generate product demand by identifying and educating key builders, contractors, engineers, and architects about product value proposition.
· Manage independent sales agencies by setting objectives; establishing, monitoring, and implementing sales plans; and coaching for success.
Provide accurate forecasts for current business, new business, and projects.
· Provide weekly and monthly business activity reports for the region.
Recommend new product and service enhancements to improve sales potential and customer satisfaction.
· Serve as technical resource in responding to product questions from reps, contractors, builders, engineers, and architects.
· Conduct product knowledge training sessions as required.
· Participate in national and regional trade shows.
Job Requirement ( Experience)
· BA degree or higher
· Minimum of 5 years outside sales experience
Experience in selling to electrical or HVAC channels and in working with contractors, engineers, architects, and builders
· Proven experience in managing independent sales agencies
· Travel >60%
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Goal-oriented, with high standards of honesty and ethics
· Strong PC skills: Microsoft Outlook and Office
· Must reside in Northeast or Upper Midwest areas of US
