Staff Accountant Job Opening in Portland, Oregon - Since 1992, Triad Machinery has been a Pacific Northwest Leader in Forestry Equipment, Construction Equipment, Wheel Loaders, Rough Terrain Cranes and Crawler have an immediate opening in our Northeast Portland location for a staff accountant. This individual will report directly to the controller and be responsible for financial reporting, reconciliations, month end close, and general ledger Duties:
Assist Controller with the monthly and annual close process
Responsible for preparing financial reports as directed by the Controller
Report daily cash activity and reconcile bank accounts
Reconcile balance sheet accounts
Responsible for maintaining the Capital Assets
Analyze and prepare journal entries for various income statement and balance sheet transactions
Perform additional tasks as required
Effective communication skills and business partnering with all levels and areas of the company
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Requirements:
Bachelor degree in accounting or finance
3 to 5 years experience in accounting
Knowledge of GAPP, solid accounting theory base
Accounting software use, Intellidealer or Sage Fixed assets a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
