Part-Time: Cooking & Household Assistance Job Opening in Newton, Massachusetts - Job Description : Seeking upbeat, health-conscious, cook and personal assistant in home/home office. Plan and prepare healthy snacks and small meals (for one) along with household/office assistance + occasional local errand.
Requirements :
Cooking & meal planning experience;
Working knowledge of nutrition and healthy eating ;
Experienced food shopper, including reading food labels ( with understanding of, or willing to learn, what to look for);
Household management experience ( keeping things tidy, sorting/handling mail, using a computer, etc.; Tasks you'd do in your own home).
If you've managed your own place and enjoy cooking and time in the kitchen , this might be a great position for you!
SCHEDULE: 1-2 afternoons/week, ~ 4-5 hours/shift. Schedule (actual days) may vary from week to week, but planned in advance, with mutual input.
**Minimum 6-month commitment**; ongoing work if mutually desired.
LOCATION: Newton. (Living nearby is a plus.) Car needed for own transportation and local food shopping or occasional errand.
