Sales Assistant Job Opening in Oak Forest, Illinois - We are seeking a professional Project Manager/ Sales to find and complete pavement maintenance:
We are a mid-large size asphalt Co. that has been in business for more than 30 years. That offers a family owed environment. We have a large radius we work in spading several states. We work predominantly in NWI and the Chicago land region.
We are looking for an ambitious and motivated individual that is ready to prospect new leads and customers. This Sales position will include Finding leads, quoting new and current clients, project management, scheduling, and more. Our estimator's income potential is between $40,000 to $140,000! Please note this is a career only excepting serious candidates, who are looking for a permanent possession with a large Co. that offers room for growth.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Prospect new clients
Price new work
Takeoff quantities accurately
Prioritize estimating based on bid deadlines, likelihood &, type of work
Responsible for developing new relationships with clients and creating a network to generate new clients while also maintaining existing client relationships
Generate new avenues of revenue
Schedule/Lead handoff meeting with assigned project manager
Assist with project scheduling
Maintain pre-bid documentation
Perform contract reviews to ensure correct scope
Create project schedules and work orders
Coordinate with WCC General
Interact with client PMs and Superintendent
Timely pricing of Change orders
Maintain client schedule
Maintain relationships with repeat clients
REQUIREMENTS
No construction experience necessary
Must have experience in sales
Ability to interact with multiple teams to complete projects.
Strong computer and analytical skills
Effective organization skills.
A strong track record of exceeding goals and quotas.
Ability to develop positive relationships with customers.
Demonstrate project management success.
Ability to use project management related computer tools.
Enthusiasm, strong work ethic and teamwork.
Advanced computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint Outlook) Adobe and Google Earth Pro; Excellent organizational skills and attention to details; excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to learn new office software (QuickBooks, Adobe and Google Earth Pro); ability to prioritize and multi-task; ability to take initiative and ownership of projects as well as the ability to routinely and independently exercise sound judgment.
