Accounts Receivable Clerk Job Opening in American Fork, Utah - Software Company is seeking a results oriented Accounts Receivables clerk with 2-years experience to join our team of professionals. The successful candidate will have a strong accounting background, attention to detail. We seek a self-starter with a desire to improve processes, strengthen results, and grow personally. As a first full-time Accounts Receivables clerk, you will be helping to organize and structure our somewhat complex receivables process, enabling us to continue our growth in providing leading edge web technologies for the parcel and logistics industry. You will be working with our clients and systems to ensure awesome relationships while at the same time collect on the invoices that are due. We have long term clients with strong relationships with them. This is a professional position working with professional clients. Positive attitude, attention to detail and structure, and good accounting skills are the foundation for success in this position. Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing client accounts for weekly invoicing.
Identifying potential challenges with specific client collections.
Working with our clients to ensure that any discrepancy in payment is identified early and the reasons are well understood.
Refining and improving our processes to reduce workload and improve accuracy.
Track and improve our Accounts Receivables metrics.
Assist clients with new service offerings.
You will have direct communication with our most important clients and our internal executives. This position will also offer opportunity to interact and work with other areas of the business. As a result, a broad curiosity and quick study are valuable traits.
Requirements
Working experience as accounts receivable clerk or accounts receivable manager
Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software
Proficiency in English and in MS Office
Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
2 yrs. experience in related field
Salary: $15-17 hourly plus benefits
