Resident Care Manager-AFH Job Opening in salem, Oregon - Resident Care Manager-AFH Resident Care Manager position available for North Salem Adult Foster Care Home. No lifting required. Residents are all high functioning and active in the community. Applicant must be able to manage a 5 bed care home and live in 4 days weekly. Positon includes room and board. Schedule is Mon thru Thurs. ongoing, with very reliable relief staff. Salary is Competitive and dependant upon experience Applicant must have 2 years verifiable care giving experience with good references and be able to pass background check. Must have or be able to study and pass multiple choice tests to obtain certificate from mental health agency. Must have knowledge of medication administration and be able to follow exact written orders from health care professionals. Position requires regular interaction with case managers, nurses and other health care professionals, good communication skills necessary. Applicant must also be able to maintain facility documentation to be in compliance with state licensing regulations. Aplicant must demonstrate that they have the ability to interact in a positive way with clients. Cooking and cleaning skills are also required. Position includes room and board 7 days per week in master bedroom with all utilities paid. Applicant must be able to adapt to needs of the residents to best serve the home. salem or oregon
