Job Description:
The function and responsibility of the Inside Sales Representative is to provide direct support to current and future customers by gaining a better understanding of specific product needs, explore and identify new sales opportunities, and provide efficient and effective solutions to ensure that growth targets and goals are met and/or exceeded.
Principal Duties:

Represent Sutliff Tobacco and all represented products (corporate or contract) in a positive and professional manner;
Work with all necessary personnel to satisfy customer needs and achieve corporate goals;
Identify areas of improvements in the company and assist in creating and implementing solutions;
Maintain customer records in a complete, accurate and efficient manner including but not limited to address changes, contact updates, and obtaining copies of current licenses; Update contact information in both SalesForce and M3 System ? including but not limited to:
Contact Name(s)
Title(s)
Phone Number(s)
Fax Number(s)
Email Address
Physical (Mailing and Shipping) Address
Any other pertinent information
Possess effective listening skills to ensure the customer?s needs are completely heard and understood;
Greet each customer with a friendly and professional demeanor;
Reach issue resolution quickly and effectively and ensure satisfaction for the both the customer and the company;
Inside Sales
Call targeted customers on a regularly scheduled basis to ensure they have adequate product in their inventory, understand/are aware of any promotions currently being offered, understand/are aware of any back order issues, etc.;
Work closely with customer to establish a regular calling routine that best suits their ordering needs;
Provide administrative assistance such as, but not limited to, copies of invoices, bill of lading, etc.;
Communicate any price changes effectively and timely;
Enter customer orders efficiently and accurately;
Assist in product selections and offer suggestions of products the customer is not currently carrying;
Work to meet or exceed call volumes and goals ? average of 30 calls per day;
Work to meet or exceed sales volumes and goals;
Accurately and completely record notes from customer conversations in Salesforce ;
Look for innovative ways to source new customers.
Have a complete and up-to-date understanding of the products;
Be prepared to communicate out of stock and back order situations and be able to offer alternative items to out of stock or discontinued items;
Be aware of competitors and their products;
Promote and Convey the following information through effective communication:
Monthly Promotions
3rd Party Product Availability
Any additional information dissemination by management
Work to turn inbound calls into outbound calls through regularly scheduled call routine;
Return all phone calls within 4 business hours of receiving the message or request for return call;
Provide back up for other Inside Sales Representative when they are out of the office or unavailable.

Salary: $38,000.00 to $40,000.00 /year
