Outside Sales Representative - Portsmouth Job Opening in Portsmouth, Virginia - We are seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join our team!

Responsibilities:
Reach out to organizations, groups, churches, and others that serve people 65+ in the Richmond community to schedule, and conduct educational activities on healthcare issues. The expectation is that you will create and conduct a minimum of 4 community events every week.
You will be responsible for educating and assisting senior citizens to receive primary and specialty health care at a JenCare Senior Medical Center.
We need someone who is passionately persistent, relentlessly helpful, and unafraid to get out of their comfort zone working with people to change their healthcare provider.
Collect information from the people you meet at these activities and follow up with them to understand their situation, their needs, their concerns, and their desires.
If becoming a member of JenCare Senior Medical Centers is in the prospective member's best interest, you will follow up with them all the way through the process of onboarding.
This is a quota based position with minimum expectations of activities and outcomes.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in outside sales
Ability to perform a thorough need analysis
Must be able to pass a background check & drug test
Sales skills of a Hunter, not a Farmer
Strong desire to work with senior citizens
Strong desire to work with people on fixed incomes
Ability to learn several computer programs including and Microsoft Office.

Compensation:
The position has a base salary of $40,000 plus a generous medical, dental, and vision insurance.
Commissions are paid monthly and are based on you achieving a quota of new members.
Commissions are unlimited. When you surpass goals, you are rewarded.
On target earnings $62,500 after commissions.
There is PTO (Paid Time Off), paid holidays, and paid sick days.
This is a career position and many members of our team have been with us since we opened in the market over 5 years ago.
We promote from within, and both the Market Sales Manager and Assistant Sales Manager have been internal promotions.
