Senior SW Engineer with RF & MAC Protocol Experience Job Opening in denver, Colorado - Senior SW Engineer with RF & MAC Protocol Experience Cardinal Peak is currently looking for a senior software engineer with experience developing software to implement MAC Protocols. Successful candidates should have experience developing components of at least one MAC protocol, and should have a thorough understanding of how MAC protocols are used to control multiple units attempting to communicate with a controller, preferably in an RF environment. They should be able to assist in the full range of MAC software development including requirements generation, protocol throughput simulation, and implementation on an embedded processor (ARM or PowerPC). The following minimum requirements must also be met: * Bachelor�s degree in engineering or computer science * 5 years professional software development experience� * Experience developing software for embedded applications in Linux or other Unix-like environments This position will be filled on a full-time permanent or contract basis. Individuals must (a) currently live in the Denver/Boulder area, and (b) already have authorization to work in the United States.�Willingness to travel is required.
