Job Description:
Bachelors degree / or windows exposure / 10+ years experience overall / 3- 5yrs of Chef development (from development to production) **Candidates need to know how to create chef cookbooks from scratch and use them from development to production**
Responsibilities:
- Build automation tools to provision environments and applications to support our development, staging, and production environments. The focus primarily on improving deployments using Chef, Docker, and related technologies.
- Work across functional (development/testing, deployment, ) and project teams to ensure continuous delivery
- Evangelize best-practices in software development and continuous deployment processes
- Work to continuously improve speed, efficiency and scalability of software delivery
- Automate wherever feasible
Qualifications
- BS/MS in Computer Science (or equivalent)
- 10+ years of overall experience
- 5+ years of strong Windows Administration experience
- Experience with Provisioning Automation
- Must have Chef cookbook development experience for Windows platform
- Experience using Docker and related eco-system.
- Experience supporting Platform as a Service (PAAS)
- Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools
- Experience with installing and configuring IIS
- Experience working with applications
- Experience working with TFS
- Experience with on a Windows platform.
