Reports To: Sales Manager / Marketing Manager
Job Function: To prospect and develop customer relationships while providing customers with solutions to their technical and engineering needs.
Essential Functions:
Develop new sales leads while maintaining a continual growth attitude in sales
Maintain customer relations to insure customers are long term
Provide timely quotes while assisting customers with design help to promote our techniques and abilities
Assist production with processing and development of parts to satisfy customer demand
Interpret product drawings and customer specifications and accurately relay those specifications to the engineering department
Immediately communicate with the proper departments any order changes
Identify problems and questions and report them to appropriate supervisor
Read and follow written and verbal work instructions
Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of 5 years work experience related to sales and customer service in a manufacturing environment
Must have manufacturing knowledge of machined parts
Must have strong mechanical aptitude
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must have problem solving skills and ability to work effectively under deadlines
Must have computer skills including familiarity with MS Word, Outlook, and Excel
Must have the following qualities: strong work ethics, persistence, confidence, honesty, good time management with attention to detail
Blue print reading skills a plus
