We are looking to hire a salesperson who will part of a collaborative team of designers and operational directors.
We are looking for a highly driven, customer service orientated professional with experience in the design and style industry. This position requires strong networking, sales and service oriented skills, attention to detail, strong problem solving, development of new pipeline opportunities, professional communication skills, and organizational skills for managing multiple projects and teams. In addition, there may be a substantial amount of travel with this position.
This person must be passionate about helping our organization succeed, have strong sales, design, communication and problem solving skills, and thrive in working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail matters.
This position will report to the Business Manager and will be based in Missoula, MT.
Essential Duties and Functions
Sell all company services, serve customers in a professional, courteous, and timely manner, and maintain strict customer privacy concerning customer?s personal data.
Work well with all departments to ensure brand alignment as it relates to the department and the company.
Ability to identify customers, evaluate interest, recognize decision making processes, handle objectives, and close sales opportunities.
Consistently seek new business opportunities by presenting, recommending and upselling JPG?s art pieces.
Demonstrate, display and sell all company products. Develop a thorough knowledge of all products, emphasizing detailed information on material selection and finish choices.
Answer phones and greet customers in office in a timely manner. Solve problems for customers, handle questions and complaints with care and tact.
Solicit and initiate orders for luxury pieces through customer contact including telephone, email, letters, trade shows, sales events and personal visits.
Schedule date of delivery or installation of products for customer. Make follow-up calls on art installations and solicit further business and referrals from customers.
Fulfill sales and marketing campaigns as they relate to existing customers and new customer orders.
Maintain full knowledge of all company finished and in production items, as well as raw mineral inventory.
Collaborate with management and staff to coordinate sales activities and improve performance and productivity.
Demonstrate efficient use of company time and conservation of company resources.
Contributes to the daily workflow with reliable and punctual attendance.
Work well and respect other departments / individual roles at all levels and consistently contribute to a positive work environment.
Participate in various committees and work teams.
Maintain safe and secure work environment by following standards and procedures.
Show good judgment, professionalism and maturity in all customer and/or third party interactions.
Work flexible hours as needed.
Upon request, perform other duties as assigned by supervisor and coordinate with appropriate team members to ensure complete and proper execution during all stages of production and delivery to ensure highest level of customer satisfaction.
Key Education, Experience and Competencies
Minimum Education and Experience: Associate?s Degree (A.A.); or two to four years related experience and or/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Current state driver license.
Competencies: Must be self-directed and , highly committed to customer needs and service, use of standard PC and MS Windows operating system and related software, ability to communicate effectively with internal and external parties, ability to effectively organize daily work responsibilities, ability to develop and manage business relationships, be sales and service oriented, use applicable mathematical concepts, perform assigned duties timely and accurately, ability to adapt to changing situations and work effectively with different personalities, manage multiple projects, and have proficient written/verbal communication skill; and, p* *roven ability to work in team oriented, collaborative environment.
