Sales - Lead Generation Specialist Job Opening in Gaithersburg, Maryland - This position is based at MagBio Genomics Headquarters in Gaithersburg, MD. The Lead Generation Specialist is responsible for assisting in growing sales through solid customer relationship building, outbound calling, and responding to inbound sales leads.
The Lead Generation Specialist will build new prospects from NGS and Liquid Biopsy industries.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
TITLE : Lead Generation Specialist
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
Drive the creation of qualified leads to meet personal and team sales goals and objectives
Leverage database tools for discovery, research and initiation of outbound calling campaigns for new prospective clients.
Work with Sales Manager to determine weekly schedule and maintain weekly, monthly quota.
Assist in high-priority sales department and marketing department projects as needed.
Manage a large volume of B2B prospecting by telephone and email, responding to inbound inquiries and conducting outbound campaigns
Effectively build and manage a lead generation pipeline.
Nurture prospective customers along the buyer?s journey further qualifying the opportunity to the highest quality to hand off to a Sales Account Manager
Build strong relationships with Sales Account Manager understanding the needs across the region with respect to customer targets
Achieve daily goals and surpass weekly and monthly lead targets
Travel to attend events and tradeshows
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in either sales, marketing, or related fields
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in prospecting businesses to generate revenue and promote the company
Positive attitude, resilient, high energy, passionate, competitive, and integrity required
Organized and detail oriented
Positive attitude and outgoing personality
Proficient in Microsoft (word, excel, ppt, Office 365)
Experience in lead generation
Articulate, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with a CRM software preferred*
