High Technology Company in business almost 30 years needs experienced Bookeeper/Senior Level Accountant. We are an Integrator, VAR and Dealer of professional imaging equipment including; digital cameras, large format printers, scanners and other high resolution digital products.
We sell into the pre-press, commercial photographic, printing, and graphics design markets throughout the United States. The products we sell and service are cutting edge technology, and we are moving at a very fast pace. A substantial amount of our business is repeat business to satisfied customers.
We are experiencing very rapid growth and expect our growth to continue to accelerate. Our new Bookkeeper/Senior Level Accountant thrives in an environment whereby he/she can make a substantial visible and financial impact on the day to day operations of the Company.
The successful candidate will be someone with hands-on experience and willingness to remain hands-on in all areas of accounting. This is a full-charge Accounting position and you will need to have a complete understanding of the entire company's work-flow. You will be reporting directly to the President of the company. Optimal Experience:
Anticipate and Manage our Cash Flow
Sales Invoicing & Accounts Receivable Management
Sage Business Works experience preferred, conversion experience to Quick Books would be a plus.
Accounting Services & Financial Statement Preparation
Sales Tax Preparation & Filing
Payroll Processing & Reporting
The successful candidate will be strong in general accounting procedures, a self starter, reliable, have the ability to multitask, generate highly accurate work,

The successful candidate will possess most or all of the following experience:
Public Accounting Firm-specific experience a plus
Ability to work well with others
Record customer and Vendor payments
Understanding payroll reporting requirements and taxes
Reconcile bank & credit card accounts
Calculate & record adjusting journal entries
Verify the balance sheet, confirming & documenting balances
Record & classify transactions as assets, liabilities, equity, income &/or expenses
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Problem solving capacity to anticipate, analyze, diagnose & come with one or multiple solutions
Self motivated to manage time and priorities
Ability to work independently and document for follow up.
Follow through; owning the project and taking responsibility to see it through.
Maintain an organized work space and work flow.
QuickBooks background
Background or familiarity with Business Works or other Sage Accounting Software
Accounting software conversion experience
Anticipate and Manage Cash Flow on a daily basis
Be detail-oriented and organized
Proficient in Excel * Be a Quick Study
Possess good communication skills and be able to jump from one task to another quickly
Must work well with others
Motivation to manage time and priorities and work independently in an office.
Must own tasks and follow through Projects to completion
Multitasking is a Must * Manage Vendor & Accounts Payable relationships
Correct spelling, grammar and verbal/written communications skills
Anticipate, analyze, diagnose & solve problems.

Plan ahead & anticipate approaching deadlines.
Bank/credit card reconciliation
Petty cash management
Debit memos/refunds
Create invoices and record customer payments
Create purchase orders and record vendor payments
Understand payroll reporting requirements and payroll taxes
