Sales Coordinator Job Opening in Orlando, Florida - Responsible to the Sales & Marketing Team and General Manager for the day to day event sales operations and administrative needs of the sales department.
DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Answer phones and retrieve voice mail messages, group reservations via reservation system (Open Table)
Retrieve and sort mail
Respond to all phone and online inquiries
Send Brochures and Menus to clients and prospective clients, as needed
Secure groups of 20+ on to one of our group event menu
Create Banquet Event Orders and Menus in Tripleseat
Generate the Weekly Sales Report, Bookings by Period and Pace Report
Generate Daily/Weekly Event Bullet Reports and distribute to all management staff
Daily and Weekly BEO meetings with staff to assist in the maintenance of event schedules
Handle PX requests
Receive event deposits and post in Tripleseat
Assist in sales and marketing efforts through site inspections, presentations, menu tastings and program development
Log all sales related activity daily in Tripleseat
Daily database entry and maintenance
Create weekly target / prospecting lists to solicit new business
Additional duties not specified in this job description as assigned by the Director of Sales & Marketing
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Effectively communicate and make best use of interpersonal skills
Must be bilingual , fluent in Spanish
Good team player and should meet or exceed team goals
Plan decisions and practice good judgment
Build excellent working relationship with operations to attain goals
Be self-motivated, confident, energetic, and creative
Should be able to deliver creative and innovative thoughts
Valid driver?s license
Minimum three years previous sales coordinating experience and strong administrative background
Computer skills including Word, Excel, Tripleseat or other catering software, Typing speed of 60 wpm
Excellent written communication, verbal communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work occasional extended hours including nights, weekends, and occasional holidays if needed
