We are looking for a SALES ENGINEER for the HVAC Design Build Mechanical Contracting Group in our Pittsburgh, PA office. Recent winner of Contracting Business Design/Build Award for New Construction. This role will report to the Design Build Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Designing and selling total building HVAC systems.
Estimating a variety of projects.
Engineering.
Project Management.
Cost Control.
Start-up oversight.
Closeout of assigned projects.
Possess the ability to read and understand technical specifications, construction plans, and contract requirements
Negotiate subcontracts for project installation.
Select components and devices required for complete installations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 2 years of HVAC Design/Build Sales experience in the Commercial and Industrial markets.
Full understanding of typical HVAC systems such as hot water and steam boilers, chilled water systems, tower/boiler heat pump system, air handlers, and VAV systems.
Must have a broad understanding of the submission process required for typical construction projects.
Must have an understanding of installation costs and requirements for proper closeout of projects.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree.
Candidates should have a PE designation preferred.
