Purchase Order Fulfillment Specialist Job Opening in Norcross, Georgia - Overview:
Assist in all areas relating to new & used product order fulfillment from the point we receive payment to the point the customer receives his order or requests cancellation. Obtain shipping status and tracking information from suppliers for all purchase orders and relay this information to customers.
Responsibilities:
Obtains tracking information for all new product orders in an organized manner and inputs information into customer?s order.
Provides phone and email support to suppliers regarding purchase orders.
Create purchase orders for suppliers for all new product orders placed by customers after order has been confirmed and ensure that information contained in purchase order is accurate by reviewing both information and customer emails/notes.
Provides email support to customers regarding order status, including providing information to customers regarding the status of back orders or delayed shipments.
Assists in relaying information about account status between suppliers and Peach Trader.
Coordinates the uploading of freight bills and resolves any discrepancies promptly.
Inputs invoices and records payments into the accounting system and imports / exports charges and payments into the company management system.
Ensures company is billed the proper amount as reflected on the company purchase order, and researches any discrepancies between the PO and the invoice.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Associate?s degree is required, preferably with some Accounting courses.
Some customer support experience required.
MUST have strong Excel and at least 2 years of Excel applications is required.
Solid PC skills, working knowledge of standard office software, such as Microsoft Office products with an aptitude to learn in-house database system.
Familiarity with accounts payable cycle is required.
Ability to work with minimum supervision.
Ability to communicate verbally or in written form effectively with co-workers, internal and external customers
Effective time management and prioritization skills within a multi-tasking environment.
Excellent organizational skills.
Demonstrates the value of being a team player through his/her actions.
Ability to execute under accelerated time frames.
Ability to quickly adapt to change in priorities.
