Office Manager/Bookkeeper Job Opening in Seattle, Washington - Office Manager and Bookkeeper Role
Turning Point is a Financial Services, Capital Advisory, and Business Consulting firm with an immediate need for someone to manage our back-end office needs and assist with bookkeeping needs for clients. This person will be functioning as the Office Manager for roughly 25% of the time, with the other 75% of time focused on Bookkeeping.

As a Bookkeeper, you will work with a team of professionals to provide outsourced day to day accounting support and financial reporting. The Bookkeeper will interface directly with business owners and key management on a daily basis, working both onsite and remotely. They will ensure financial records are maintained in accordance with GAAP and Company policy, and monitor and maintain the control systems for the processing and recording of transactions. They will provide light financial analyses, and ensure compliance with appropriate government regulations, Company policies and internal control safeguards.
In addition to bookkeeping you will be responsible for fulfilling the Office Manager role as well. This person functions as our main hub in the office, and supports the entire team in various scheduling, administrative, general office maintenance, and banking areas.
Job Duties
Daily processing of A/P, A/R, expense reports, semi-monthly payroll processing, journal entries and basic account reconciliation and analysis
Maintain meticulously organized and complete accounting records and work papers
Provide generalized financial information and assistance to employees and management
Maximize efficiencies, organize work processes and procedures, and automate procedures through system improvements
Helping coordinate firm social events (both client events and internal events);
Assisting the management team with travel arrangements and other tasks as required and as requested;
Assist management team with firm administration;
Answer phones;
Assist with monthly client billing and accounts payable;
Assist with banking;
Process inbound and outbound mail daily;

Qualifications and Skills
In-depth understanding of QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Products
4-6 years of relevant accounting experience
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Excellent interpersonal, organization, and verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to accomplish multiple tasks simultaneously with excellent attention to detail.
A positive attitude and the desire to learn.
