Administrative Assistant Job Opening in Baton Rouge, Louisiana - Administrative Assistant opening for the Baton Rouge Regional office providing support to the Office Manager. Responsible for tracking required program documentation, managing billing processes including data integrity in LASRS & LAST, denial and block resolution, maintaining consumer files, consumer expense accounts, and other projects at the direction of the Office Manager.
The Administrative Assistant position requires a strong knowledge of MS Office Programs. Quicken experience preferred, but not required. Good judgment, initiative, dependability, tenacity, and the ability to handle multi-tasks simultaneously with an attention to detail is a must.
High School Diploma with some college level accounting course work, or equivalent combination of education and experience; a minimum of one year medical billing or clerical/accounting experience is preferred.
