Inside Sales Representative Job Opening in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma - PLEASE READ FULL JOB DESCRIPTION BEFORE APPLYING. MUST have Sales experience outside of experience.
The primary function of Customer Sales and Service Representative is to support Seal Company?s sales objectives by maintaining on-going sales initially established by the Account Manager; to support, seek, contact, and negotiate with current customers and attain sales for the Company.
Achieve or exceed the budgeted sales and profits as presented by the Vice President of Sales.
Produce enough profitable business to support the growth and profit goals of the Company.
Prepare all quotations not covered by the normal pricing policy in conjunction with the Vice President of Sales and/or Customer Service Manager.
Ø Turn phone calls into sales, up-selling whenever possible.
Ø Remains connected in the business community and in the market place in which the company operates and provides a positive and professional image for the company.
Ø Brings shortages to the purchasing department?s attention.
Ø Initiates and sustains work with little to no supervision; ?self-starter?.
Ø Generate accurate sales orders.
Ø Fill in or assist counter sales when requested by management.
Ø Gets agreement from the production department on customer ship dates prior to committing the order.
Ø Maintains an accurate and up to date customer account list with detailed information for this position.
Ø Ensures that all company transactions are conducted in an ethical and prudent manner.
Ø Settles all customer complaints at this level and seeks guidance of the Vice President and/or the Customer Sales and Service Manager as required.
Ø Maintains a well-groomed, professional appearance (including wearing company clothing as required) appropriate for the position and situation in which the Sales Person may be involved.
Ø Attends trade shows, conventions, seminars, and other meetings to enhance his/her professional knowledge or to promote the Company. Attendance will be directed by upper management.
Ø Keeps updated on the events in the industry and market place in order to take advantage of new changes.
Ø Follows all instructions (written and verbal) as given by the Vice President and/or the Customer Sales and Service Manager.
Ø Remains in constant contact with established customers to ensure their satisfaction with the products and the company's services.
Ø Meets regularly with the sales staff to ensure proper information flow and adherence to stated goals and objectives.
Ø Follows through on leads, contacts, and commitments in a timely fashion.
Ø Completes and submits all reports required and requested in a complete and timely manner.
Ø Follows the proper implementation of normal operating procedures.
Ø Accompany Account Managers on sales calls as needed to enhance customer relationship.
Ø Helps to develop and implement effective and efficient sales and marketing programs with the concurrence of upper management.
Ø Attends all the before and/or after hours sales meetings, and is expected to be available after hours and on weekends as needed and with acceptable notification.
Ø Ensures the accuracy and completeness of all required paperwork submitted for quotes.
Ø Keeps informed on competitors' selling policies, tactics, services, and prices offered.
Ø All other duties and tasks as may be directed from time to time by the Vice President and/or the Customer Sales and Service Manager.
Educational requirements for this position are:
Preferred ? Business Administration degree with emphasis in Marketing or High School diploma with equivalent related experience.
