SQL Report Developer (North Pittsburgh) Job Opening in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania - Please no contractors, local candidates only. Report developer creates business intelligence (BI), analytics, and information management web-based reports using SQL Server Report Services (SSRS) or similar report tools such as Logi Info. Duties include data analysis, writing queries, creating standard reports, building ad hoc queries, and maintaining existing reports. Report developer will work as part of a team with senior developers and analysts as well as with internal and external clients who use MyShipMatrix BI reporting services. Report developer will work in a fast-paced environment where MyShipMatrix reporting services is making a major impact on the transportation industry. Hundreds of medium and large corporations use MyShipMatrix reporting to make executive-level decisions that improve their shipping operations and reduces their transportation costs.
Preferred Skills
Experience with developing reports in Microsoft SSRS or equivalent report tool
Experience in query development using SQL Server 2008/2012
Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) is a plus
Experience with MVC is a plus
Prior experience with software development in transportation / logistics industries is a plus
Preferred Education
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Engineering
