Controls Software Developer Job Opening in Grand Rapids, Michigan - My Grand Rapids, MI client is in need of a Controls Software Engineer to join their team. This person needs to have experience with Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLC platforms and HMI programming. Experience relating to the operation and commissioning of large systems is required. The systems are controlled by an embedded controller programmed in the C. The systems consists of a stationary controller. The stationary controller is a Siemens S7 PLC. The stationary handles receiving and parsing information from an upper level controller. A stationary controller can have multiple visualization panels attached with serve both as a means of information announcement, manual motion control, and manipulation.
Required:
2+ years? of PLC and HMI programming experience.
3+ years? of Software Development such as C, C++, C# or Java.
Embedded Software Development experience is desired.
Ability to travel up to 20%
Desired:
Agile development experience a plus
This is a permanent full time, onsite position in Grand Rapids, MI. There is no remote, C2C, or sponsorship available for this role. Must be authorized to work in the US with no expiration
