Surgery Scheduler Job Opening in Milwaukee, Wisconsin - ADVENT, an expanding, independent otolaryngology practice is seeking a Full Time Surgery Scheduler/Treatment Coordinator for our growing ENT practice. We are an independent, innovative medical practice, founded with the goals of providing a unique type of healthcare. Our guiding principles include providing patients with the highest level of technology and medical experience available, in the most convenient, least invasive manner. Most importantly, we do so with an outward focus on providing exceptional patient care, from the moment we schedule the initial appointment. We currently have 2 locations (Wauwatosa and Mequon). Must be open to traveling to different clinic locations.

Primary Responsibilities:
Review surgical orders with patients
Review approval process and timeline
Review expectations of surgical procedures
Obtains signed informed consent
Distribute and review post-operative instructions
Assist with obtaining prior authorization and scheduling procedures
Maintain surgery schedule for physicians
Obtain prior authorization for Sleep Studies, Radiology and misc. testing/procedures
Back up front desk, this includes checking patients in and out, answering phones and making patient appointments

This is a full time position. 40 hours per week.
