Step into this pivotal role, responsible for coordinating the daily operations of our Pediatric ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation) Program.
The Program Manager is esponsible for coordinating the Pediatric ECMO program with staff collaboration from hospital operations, finance, marketing, planning and care providers to ensure that projects are completed in a timely manner and reflect the quality associated with Pediatric ECMO Service line. The Program Manager will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of ECMO with patients, families and nursing staff. Essential functions include the development of policies and procedures; maintains required ECMO patient reports; in collaboration with leadership, assists with staff scheduling to ensure ECMO service coverage; develops and monitors ECMO quality indicators; provides ongoing and updated parent resources, staff resources and other statistical data as needed; assists in education and training of ECMO to staff; evaluates ECMO staff competencies and reports to departmental leadership; maintains necessary supplies for service; monitors ECMO pump hours and reviews other information as established for the service.

Preferred Criteria
Leadership experience
Program management experience
Required Criteria
Bachelor?s degree in Nursing
At least three years of equivalent work experience within Pediatric ECMO
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, specifically Microsoft Excel
Strong communication and organizational skills are essential
