Boston Hernia LLC is the medical practice marketing arm of Michael Reinhorn MD, MBA. Dr. Reinhorn is a board-certified general surgeon and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, who graduated from Cornell University and Boston University School of Medicine and then completed his internship and residency in the Boston University Surgical Residency Program. He completed his MBA at Brandeis University. He enjoys being in group practice with Newton-Wellesley Surgeons, which allows him to not only concentrate on the work he enjoys but teach medical students and residents at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston and surgical residents from MGH. He is also an active member of the American Hernia Society and American College of Surgeons. Dr. Reinhorn?s Practice has experienced excellent growth in the past few years and he is now in need of a marketing assistant.
Position Summary for Medical Marketing Assistant
To begin this is a part time position working with Dr. Reinhorn and his team to increase brand awareness and ultimately generate new referrals. This is an entry level position with exposure to the Healthcare Industry and work closely with Web Developers for other Healthcare Practices. The right candidate has the potential to quickly grow into a full time position performing marketing work for Boston Hernia LLC as well as additional medical practices.
Qualifications for the Medical Marketing Assistant:
Excellent Communicator, both verbal and written
Strong Organizational skills and the ability to handle deadlines
Attention to detail with accuracy and consistency
Ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of people
Strong project management and presentation skills
Computer and Software skills with Microsoft Suite, SEO, SEM
Certifications with Google AdWords and Analytics IQ or relative work experience
The Medical Marketing Assistant position duties will include:
Overseeing Marketing
Develop SEO / SEM strategy i.e. Google analytics and Ad Words
Digital Content Development
Social media campaigns
Advertising
Updating web content
Ensuring digital content is uniform across all platforms
Ensuring registries are uniform / consistent
Video storytelling development
Working with web content management systems
Medical writing under the supervision of Dr. Reinhorn as needed (translating complex information into consumer friendly material)
