SQL Developer (HighJump Developer) Job Opening in Janesville, Wisconsin - Job Duties:
Software development in MS SQL Server for Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Conduct complex queries in WMS using SQL
Develop and maintain software in generating reports and label printing applications
Plan programs by studying specifications; arrange specifications by developing logical sequence, preparing flowcharts, and researching solutions.
Code specifications by converting logical sequence and workflow into program language.
Verify coding by performing unit testing and trial runs.
Arrange project requirements in programming sequence by analyzing requirements; preparing a work flow chart and diagram using knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, programming language, and logic.
Meet programming standards by following production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; identify work process improvements and implement new technology.
Prepare program specifications based on documented business requirements.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor?s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science and/or Engineering required; or equivalent combination of education and experience
3-5 years of SQL programming experience, preferably in a SQL Server / / Microsoft environment; SSRS / SSIS experience
Experience maintaining and/or developing software for Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); distribution systems and/or supply chain / logistics
Additional Qualifications:
Agile / Scrum environment experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Familiarity with quality assurance testing principles.
Documentation of applications
Effective time management and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail
