Independent Stave Company is seeking an Accountant to assist with our multi-state and international based operations. The accountant?s position provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports and forecasting.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Compiles and analyzes costing, financial and production data.
Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
Guides accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.
Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial and proprietary information confidential.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing other related tasks as needed.
