The (Residential Remodeling) Construction Sales/Estimator is to meet and exceed sales goals for existing and new clients. Blossom offers services within the landscape and construction fields with a variety of products to meet our client?s needs. The position requires excellent sales skills and a strong knowledge of project estimation.
The successful job candidate will have a significant working knowledge and experience in residential construction (remodeling in particular). You will be well versed in structural work, rough and finish carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, flooring, lighting, roofing, tile & stone and fine cabinetry.
This is a position that offers a competitive base salary that is commensurate with experience. Sales/estimator experience in both remodeling and residential construction is required.
This position reports directly to the business owner. This is a part time or full time, seasonal position with an opportunity for growth at Blossom.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Sales & project estimation. Must have experience with computing sales numbers and general math skills.
Creatively design residential remodeling projects, including kitchens, bathrooms, renovations and room additions.
Provide the management team a breakdown with costs of labor for trades, materials and estimated profit on the project.
Develop labor and material pricing for an accurate and comprehensive estimate for the remodeling work as well as create job budgets for trades and vendors,
Visit the homes of clients for site assessments, do photo documentation and take-offs.
Meet with key subcontractors on larger projects.
Facilitate clients through the sales and estimating process.
Be responsible for coordinating with the Design/Build team including the project manager, plan designer, selections designer and office manager to complete a successful project.
Help generate leads and opportunities as well as work with other sales professionals/trade partners in creating successful sales prospects.

Have excellent presentation in both verbal and written communication skills.
Have strong computer skills: Word, Excel, Power Point
Be able to post project photos on Social Media Sites.
Familiarity with estimating and architectural software is a plus.
Bilingual English/Spanish a plus but not required.
Hours will vary daily with customer appointments; occasional evenings, and Saturday appointments may be required.
Background check and drug test are required.
Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
