Inventory Control Clerk Job Opening in Salt Lake City, Utah - ***This is a temporary position for 6-12 weeks***
BASIC PURPOSE & SCOPE
Acts as manufacturing liaison to other departments through planning, inventory and accounting tasks. Has interaction with Accounting, Purchasing, Production, Warehouse, and QA. Performs inventory transactions, filing, assist traffic department, investigates inventory discrepancies and assist with special projects while providing high quality and consistent service to all customers. Responsibilities include: production job input, raw material safety stock reviews, and finished good inventory analysis and reporting.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Processing Inventory cycle counts
Warehouse inventory management
Inventory reconciliation and entry
Warehouse transfer documentations
Production job closing and auditing
Investigating inventory discrepancies
Processing warehouse cycle counts
Posting inventory and movements
Computer entry for holds/releases.
Usage variance analysis
Yield tracking
Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies with manufacturing and inspection protocol.
Prepare monthly reports for cycle counts and pick list counts for monthly highlights.
Prepare and participate in yearly physical inventory.
Special projects and ad hoc analysis as needed.
Two year of Business or Accounting classes or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of one year inventory control experience.
Strong skills in organization, problem solving, and math.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Detail orientated.
Working knowledge of manufacturing control systems.
Exceptional Proficiency with MS Office; Word, Excel, Access.

Salary: $15.00 to $16.00 /hour
