Accountant, Junior Job Opening in Pleasant Grove, Utah - Junior Accountant-CPA Firm
Established, growing CPA/Accounting firm in Pleasant Grove has immediate opening for a Junior Accountant
Must be , 90% Spanish-speaking clientele
Strong knowledge of Quickbooks required as 85% of revenue comes from monthly
Must be proficient in Microsoft (Excel and Word)
2 Semesters of Accounting Education required
Customer Service oriented with the ability to interface with clients explaining financial methods and decisions to business owners
General accounting and administrative duties
Month-end and quarterly closings, including posting to registers and general ledger, manually or electronically
Sorting of monthly sales receipts, checks, and sales reports to generate monthly financials
Bank reconciliations, AR, AP and inventory
Account reconciliations and identifying solutions to problems and questions
Payroll preparation and payroll reporting
Tax preparation for individuals and small businesses a plus
Special projects and other duties as assigned
Ability to multi-task and attention to detail, quick learner
35-hour work week, 7 hours daily-Monday through Friday, occasional overtime as required in tax season or as directed by CPA
Small office, casual atmosphere-must be flexible
Salary $16-17 depending on experience
