SUMMARY: Responsible for maintaining all the accounts and ledger books of the company. Reviews and analyzes journal vouchers, accounting classifications and other statements, records and reports. Assists Controller in a variety of accounting assignments.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
Helps with month end process
Responsible for Payroll
Monthly bank reconciliation
Prepares Monthly Cash Flow Report
Reviews and updates all benefit payment worksheets and add on provider websites
Reconcile and balance general ledger accounts
Prepare Sales Tax returns for various states
Help prepare for external audits
Reviews Accounts Payable voucher coding for accuracy on a weekly basis
Back up for all basic accounting functions
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor Degree; emphasis in accounting, finance, business
Two (2) years related experience
Excellent knowledge of double entry accounting and its procedures and requirements
Data entry and 10-key by touch with speed and accuracy
Strong attention to detail, time management, and analytical skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft office products
